Building Hope

Building a safe place to find hope

Construction Progress Photos

A Home of Hope and Healing.

Garland Oaks will provide hope and restoration to female survivors from 12 to 17 years of age. This ten bedroom, Christ-centered home sits on 15 beautiful acres of land in a remote area of East Tennessee. This will be the first long-term, holistic care facility in East Tennessee for underage victims of domestic child sex trafficking.

Community Involvement

Throughout the month of June, we hosted Building Hope Community Events in the greater Knoxville area where guests were encouraged to raise awareness, leave their mark and share their hope.

Attendees were able to purchase Set Free t-shirts to increase awareness about Street Hope TN and the construction of Garland Oaks. At each each event, we brought 2x4s that will be used in the home’s framing for the community to write their hopes and prayers for the girls that will live at the safe home. We also brought our trunk for guests to place their symbolic items of hope that we buried beneath the foundation of Garland Oaks on June 18.
