The Meriam Webster dictionary defines “freedom” as the absence of necessity, coercion, or constraint in choice or action. While I agree that this definition is accurate, it is not the way that I would describe freedom. To me, freedom is Jesus Christ. To me, freedom is no longer being held down by the weight of my wrong-doing because I know that Jesus Christ has paid the price to release me from all the constraints of this world. I experience freedom because in Jesus, I am no longer a slave to sin. I am a daughter of the Most High King.
