How to PRAY for our Church & Community PARTNERS
May 11, 2015

Human Trafficking is not pleasant to think about. It is evil beyond what we can imagine. Victims of human trafficking can be as young as infants. Be aware that it exists even in our city, our state and maybe our neighborhood. We begin our month of prayer with a focus on the victims of trafficking.

We must not ignore the reality of human trafficking. Pray! NOTHING IS TOO BIG FOR GOD!

Here are 5 Bible verses to help you get started in prayerful support for innocent victims of DMST:

  • Psalm 9:9 ~ The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.
  • Psalm 82:4 ~ Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.
  • Psalm 103:6 ~ The Lord works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed.
  • Psalm 82:3 ~ Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute.
  • Psalm 146:5-8a ~ Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God, who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, who keeps faith forever; who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets the prisoners free; the Lord opens the eyes of the blind.
